Job Description

Our client is a well established, pan European, Private Equity firm based in central London. An exciting new role has been created to support both the Fund Controller and Financial Controller. The role is unique in that you will have equal exposure to both fund accounting and management accounting, a rarity for firms of this size. You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA). You will have Private Equity exposure either from your audit training or from industry.
The Role
Fund Accounting

• Prepare quarterly investor reports
• Support annual audit process
• Review management fee calculations
• Prepare/review of drawdown and distribution calculations and notices
• Maintain track record data

Group/Corporate Accounting/Tax/Ad Hoc

• Support the Group audit process and prepare consolidated financial statements
• Assist in quarter and year end close and preparation of management accounts
• Prepare FCA regulatory reporting files
• Assist with preparation of budget and forecasts
• Provide support on Group and Fund tax compliance matters
• Prepare quarterly Group VAT returns
• Work alongside Investor Relations, legal & compliance teams
• Transaction support for deal team

Requirements

• You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• You must have some Private Equity experience. This could be gained from Audit, Fund Administration or from Industry
• You don't need to have done both fund accounting and management accounting though will have experience in one of those
• Able to work as part of a small team and have excellent all round interpersonal skills
