We are seeking a skilled
Finance Manager
to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the Group. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and compliance with financial regulations. Working closely with senior management, you will support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making, while managing and developing a small finance team.
Responsibilities
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
Conduct financial analysis to provide insights on business performance.
Support management with data-driven recommendations to improve profitability.
Oversee payroll, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Monitor company spending and support cost control initiatives
Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and regulations.
Support audits (internal and external) and implement process improvements.
Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies
Supervise and mentor junior finance staff.
Support other teams during busy periods or staff absence
Work with Practice Managers, Operations, and Senior Leadership to ensure financial processes run smoothly.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions where required.
Requirements
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Studies (essential).
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) (preferred).
Advanced Accounting apprenticeship or finance certifications (advantageous).
Proven experience in a finance role, ideally within healthcare, dental, or multi-site operations.
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and reporting.
Experience with payroll, bookkeeping, and budget management.
Familiarity with GDC, NHS, and CQC regulations (advantageous).
Proficiency with finance systems and MS Office (Excel essential).

Pay: 33,000.00-35,000.00 per year
