Finance Manager

We are now looking for a Finance Manager to join the finance team here in Richmond.


This is a group role, working closely with the CFO, Financial Director and a Finance Assistant.

What you will do

Production and analysis of the monthly management accounts for the shareholders and senior management including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements Supervise the conclusion of month-end and year-end closing procedures, guaranteeing precise recording and timely reconciliation of all financial transactions and adhering to IFRS principles. Including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets Oversee VAT returns in UK and IE entities and assist in GST Lodgement in the AU entity Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits. Provide required documentation and explanations to ensure a smooth audit process Compile and analyse financial data, identifying trends, delivering managerial insights, conducting variance analysis to explain actual performance and recommending corrective actions Inventory management and reconciliation. Costing and creation of items on our ERP system ensuring a smooth link between financials, supply chain, operations, commerce, reporting and manufacturing Direct management of two finance assistants, involving training and review while ensuring they maintain a high level of job satisfaction

Who you are

You will ideally have experience working in a similar role for a group/conglomerate, with experience mentoring junior members of staff. You will also have experience with/be:

CT/VAT/GST reporting (EU specific) Multi currency reporting Commercial and operational understanding of the manufacturing industry Auditing Payroll ACA/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified, Finalist or Newly Qualified Oracle NetSuite ERP systems * Excel (Xlookups, Sumifs, Pivot Tables etc.)
