We are currently seeking a
Finance Manager

About the Role:
As our Finance Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Finance Director and leading our finance team through this period of change. You'll be responsible for ensuring our financial operations run smoothly, driving improvements in our processes, and helping to strengthen our financial foundations as we grow.

What you'll be doing:
Leading, supporting, and developing the finance team to deliver accurate, timely work.
Preparing monthly management accounts and handling key month-end processes such as various journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
Weekly KPI reporting.
Reporting on Aged Creditors to keep our supplier accounts up to date
Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers
Playing a key role in process improvements, system upgrades, and new ways of working.
Supporting year-end audits and assisting with the implementation of new financial systems.
Building strong relationships across the business, collaborating to solve problems and drive efficiency.
Being a flexible, all-hands-on-deck team player - from supplier payments to taking the occasional phone call, you're happy to help where needed.
What we're looking for:
Must-Haves:
AAT Level 4 qualified or ACCA / CIMA part-qualified.
At least 1 year of management or team leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes.
Advanced Excel skills and a keen eye for detail.
A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work under your own initiative.
Great communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience working in a manufacturing business.
Familiarity with CIS accounting and R&D Tax Credits.
