Salary:

40,000 - 55,000 (dependent on experience)

Hours:

Full-time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
(Part-time considered for the right candidate)

The Role



We are seeking an experienced, motivated and qualified Finance Manager to join our team and support the continued growth of our dynamic businesses: Firetech (UK) Limited and Firetech Distribution Limited.

This exciting and varied new role is ideal for a driven finance professional looking for responsibility, career progression and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the success of our businesses.

Key Responsibilities



Managing purchase and sales ledgers (including invoicing and debtor management) Completing bank reconciliations Tracking retentions Administering payroll processes Planning and monitoring cash flow Producing accurate and timely financial reports for the director Liaising effectively with external accountants Completing quarterly and annual VAT returns Preparing detailed management accounts and working with external accountants to support the preparation of year-end statutory accounts Handling Companies House statutory requirements Executing payment runs and liaising with HMRC Managing and overseeing online banking activities Monitoring operative productivity daily using OneTrace software, documenting the value of work completed and reporting findings to management (training provided) Supporting budgeting and forecasting Evaluating and improving existing financial processes, including the implementation of new software solutions

Essential Skills and Experience



Minimum 3 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting, credit control, debtor management and payroll,

ideally within the construction industry

Qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) strongly preferred Proficient in Xero and Excel Meticulous, methodical and highly organised Confident communicator with the determination to achieve results Self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic

Bachelor's degree (preferred)
