We're looking for a
Finance Manager
to take ownership of our financial operations and strategy. This is a newly created role, reporting directly to the Managing Director, with one team member reporting into you. You'll play a key role in driving our financial performance, supporting business decisions, and enabling our next phase of growth.

What You'll Be Doing
Overseeing all day-to-day financial operations, including management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
Providing strategic insights and financial analysis to support decision-making at a senior level.
Preparing monthly and annual financial reports and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Managing and mentoring our book-keeper, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payroll, and reconciliations.
Leading process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability within the finance function.
Supporting external relationships with accounting firms, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
Playing a key role in sustainability reporting and impact measurement, aligned with Ombar's values.
What We're Looking For
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 3+ years of post-qualification experience.
Strong experience in financial planning and analysis, with excellent Excel and accounting software skills (we use SAP B1).
A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing business.
Prior experience in FMCG or manufacturing is a
big plus
, but not essential.
Passion for sustainability, ethical business, and great food.
