We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations and ensure the organisation's financial health and stability. The successful candidate will oversee financial management, accounting, planning, and reporting activities, providing valuable insights to support business growth. It would also be advantageous if the right candid was able to assist with elements of credit control, is proficient in Sage and is happy to chase up non payment both via telephone and email.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organisational goals
Oversee financial management activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Manage financial accounting processes ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards
Supervise accounts payable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
Monitor cost control measures to optimise operational efficiency
Lead financial planning initiatives, providing insights for decision-making and long-term growth
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
Provide leadership and guidance to finance team members, fostering professional development
Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders
Collaborate with other departments to support organisational objectives through sound financial practices
Requirements
Proven experience in financial management, including leadership roles within finance or accounting teams
Strong background in financial accounting and services
Excellent understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and cost control techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
Proficiency in financial software and systems used for reporting and analysis
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively
Relevant qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent are preferred
