A great opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Manager to join a growing Building Solutions business and lead financial performance across the North of England within construction projects.
Supporting a portfolio of long-term contracts, you'll partner closely with operational and commercial teams to drive accuracy, challenge performance, and shape financial strategy. This is a high-visibility role with real influence and strong progression potential.
What you'll do
Own financial reporting and analysis across 20+ regional contracts
Lead budgets, forecasts, monthly accounts and performance reviews
Challenge and support operational teams on contract performance
Manage cashflow, WIP and key balance sheet reconciliations
Support scenario modelling, risk/opportunity analysis and strategic planning
Build strong stakeholder relationships and deputise for the Finance Business Partner
What you'll bring
CIMA/ACCA qualified with 5+ years PQE
Experience in long-term contract accounting (construction preferred)
Strong analytical skills and a partnering mindset
Ability to travel to regional offices and operational sites across the UK
Industry experience (construction / facilities management)
