Job Description
The Finance Manager will oversee the timely completion of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial tasks of this charity, closely linked to the entertainment sector, ensuring they meet the highest standards. They will plan and monitor a work schedule that provides the CEO and Board with reports and essential information to support business management. Additionally, the role involves advising on improvements to financial processes and collaborating with the Stakeholders to prepare for the annual audit.
Responsibility of the Finance Manager Role:-
- Weekly bank reconciliation, sales report, and aged creditors report for weekly supplier payments.
- Monthly PAYE payments, department budget reports, petty cash reconciliation, and management accounts.
- Quarterly GIFT AID submissions, VAT preparation and payments.
- Preparation for audit--including up-to-date trial balances, asset register, and other relevant documentation.
- Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping within a charity or an SME
- First rate systems skills, ideally knowledge of Sage
- Managed a small team
- Produced management and year end accounts
- Happy to pitch in at all levels of the finance role
- Working from home 2 days a week
- 25 days holiday
- Flexi time start as early as 8am
