Summary
The Finance Manager plays a key role in professionalize the finance organization in a fast-growing Industrial market of cargo scanning systems. You will have the opportunity to advance your knowledge of financial processes, cost accounting activities and project administration in practice with freedom of execution.
The ideal persons for this position will have demonstrated understanding of accounting, with experience in project administration, accrual accounting and typical planning- en control activities like month-end close, quarter-close and year-end closing. Project administration and monitoring of each cargo scanning system is an important task of this person. The candidate will have excellent technical and problem-solving skills, drive and focus on process improvement, and the ability to partner effectively across business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the close reporting process ensuring all financial deadlines are met.
Own and assist in aspects of monthly close, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, monitoring and preparing ad-hoc analyses.
Multi-entity journal entries and reconciliations including, but not limited to leases, cash, accruals, intercompany, allocations, goodwill, intangibles, and more.
May assist with quarterly SEC Reporting, international entities, and/or FP&A, as needed.
Prepare and review internal controls over financial reporting documentation to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act ("SOX") in line with the above processes.
Detailed GL account research to understand and comment on irregular patterns.
Assist with year-end audit, and schedule requests of external auditors.
Prepare ad-hoc reports and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Communication with external stakeholders
Drive and understand process improvements, including automation, and work cross-functionally.
Analyzes the cost of materials, labor, overheads and other direct or indirect costs
Coordinates maintenance of standard cost data, and accounts for manufacturing variances, scrap, rework costs, excess & obsolescence through direct engagement of our production team
Qualifications
4+ Years of Experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting
CPA license
Experience in SAP
Understand of local GAAP and US GAAP
Advanced knowledge of Excel and all Microsoft products
Project Management experience requested
Working in a dynamic international matrix structured company
Must have a strong financial close background and the ability to think critically.
