Job Description

KCR Solutions are exciting to be recruiting a Finance Manager for a dynamic and community-focused non-profit organisation. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will oversee all financial activities, ensuring robust systems, compliance, and strategic insight. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and experienced individual with the ability to lead a small team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Produce monthly management accounts
  • Prepare annual budgets
  • Monitor departmental budgets and provide financial guidance
  • Manage day-to-day finance processes
  • Maintain and develop accounting software and purchase order systems
  • Administer company credit card programme and oversee bank relationships
  • Lead cash flow forecasting and supplier payments
  • Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and vendors
  • Support funding applications and grant reporting
  • Liaise with external payroll providers and oversee monthly payroll
  • Support salary budgeting and staff cost analysis
  • Coordinate with external auditors for year-end accounts
  • Manage statutory filings (HMRC, Companies House, Charity Commission)
  • Oversee VAT returns, Gift Aid claims, and tax reliefs
This is a fantastic opportunity for a current Finance Manager or a candidate ready to step up to the next level. Excellent Excel is important, and knowledge of Xero is desirable.
