Job Description
Our client - a rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution business based in Leicester - is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its' team on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting to the Group Financial Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Production of management accounts,
- Supervision of a small team,
- Control account reconciliations
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Accruals & prepayments,
- Inventory controls,
- Managing fixed assets register,
- General ledger, incl. journal preparation & posting,
- VAT returns,
- Assist with completion of month-end, ad-hoc weekly / monthly reporting,
- Qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA
- Ideally with experience of imports & exports,
- Effective communication skills, confident in presenting financial information to senior management,
- Proactive and able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Able to fit into a dynamic and fast-moving accounting team within a large organisation,
- Excellent planning, organisation skills and adherence to tight deadline,
- Strong IT skills incl. Microsoft Excel (pivot charts / tables, macros, data models), Sage, Xero and, MS Dynamics 365 (ERP)
