Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in our growing finance team--helping to shape the future of the function as Macs Adventure continues its ambitious growth journey. With the Finance team currently evolving, this role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to its transformation and success.

What you'll do:




This Finance Manager's purpose is to ensure the smooth running of our Finance Ops Team. It is also to help drive efficiency through automation and tech to reduce manual working (and work arounds). You will play a significant role in cross functional systems development, representing the Finance Function, utilising your extensive knowledge of how financial transactions are processed.


You will form part of the existing Senior Finance Team, comprising CFO, Group FC and 2 x Finance Managers. Whilst your focus will be on running the transactional team and supporting change, you will also assist in other more traditional finance activities, developing both your experience and knowledge of our business and your technical skills.

What you'll bring:



Accounting qualification (CA, ACCA). 3+ years' post qualification experience in an accounting role in industry. Strong financial, accounting, and managerial skills. Exceptional levels of technical accounting knowledge coupled with the desire and ability to be the 'subject matter expert'. Excellent leadership and management skills. Experience of or taking the next steps in developing teams. A track record of coming up with and implementing great ideas that deliver results. Good communicator, planner, and organiser. Strong ability to implement and monitor internal controls. Resilient, flexible and a positive attitude. European language skills would be very welcome!
