Eden Mobility are looking for an experienced and qualified Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure the effective management of our team resource. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, accounting, and leadership, with a proven ability to drive financial planning and cost control initiatives. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organisation and supporting strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Oversee financial accounting processes to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Lead the finance team in delivering high-quality financial services to internal stakeholders. Develop and implement effective financial planning strategies to support organisational goals. Monitor accounts payable processes to ensure timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Conduct regular cost control analyses to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains. Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management, providing insights into performance metrics. Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with operational objectives. Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures while promoting best practices within the team.

Requirements

Proven experience in financial management, with a strong understanding of financial accounting principles. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a finance team. In-depth knowledge of financial services, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting techniques. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with ERP systems is an advantage. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous.
