Pike Textiles are suppliers to the interiors and fashion markets, providing sampling solutions for high end brands.

We are excited to be recruiting for a Finance Manager. The successful candidate would have the opportunity to join a fantastic family run company.

As Finance Manager you will join the Finance Team, to efficiently and accurately oversee the day to day financial operations of the business. Liaising with the Senior Management Team the Finance Manger will assume a hands-on role with responsibility for the day to day financial operations.

Duties will cover the full spectrum of preparing the finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, cash flow management and auditing.

Key deliverables:



Management of company financial records, including ensuring that the financial reporting software is kept up to date, accurate & in line with the relevant legislation Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and influence Preparation of management accounts for presentation to the board on a monthly basis Carry out variance analysis comparing actual results to the budget & investigating variances as appropriate. Preparation and monitoring of regular rolling cashflow forecasts Management of the company's invoice discounting facility Provision of information to the companies external accountant & liaising with them as necessary Preparation of & submission of the necessary information to HMRC, including VAT returns, in a timely manner

Requirements - skills, attributes & experience



Understanding of finance function in a manufacturing environment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Enthusiastic and analytical Competent with various accounting software, ideally Sage line 50 & Sage Intact Ability to work to deadlines ACCA, ICAEW or AAT qualified or qualified by experience.

36 hours per week
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
