Your Sanctuary is a Surrey based charity dedicated to providing specialist support to women, men and children affected by domestic abuse.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager, with excellent communication skills, to jour our Senior Leadership Team and take responsibility for all financial matters.

Responsibilities

Overseeing financial management processes, ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations and best practice. Setting financial strategy Preparing budgets Managing statutory and management accounts Overseeing income and expenditure Managing the payroll (in conjunction with external bureau)

Qualifications

A professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Proven experience in a similar role ideally within the charity sector (minimum income in excess of 500,000 pa) Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices. Knowledge of accounting software (preferably SAGE) Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and work on your own initiative.

The role is for 36 hours per week Monday to Friday but we are able to offer some flexibility over the working hours (minimum 30 per week) and the working pattern.
