Semmco is a growing, innovative engineering business providing high-quality solutions to customers in the UK, US and UAE. We are now seeking an experienced

Finance Manager

to play a leading role in driving the financial performance of our business unit.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional with people-management experience who is ready to take ownership of a busy finance function and contribute to ongoing growth and improvement.

The Role




As Finance Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, providing leadership, strategic input and financial support to the wider business. You will work closely with global production and finance teams (UK/US/UAE) and be responsible for delivering accurate, timely financial information to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage the finance function, including the UK local team Produce monthly management accounts in line with Group deadlines Manage annual audits and liaise with external auditors Oversee cash flow forecasting and management Lead annual budgeting process in partnership with the BU Managing Director Implement and improve financial processes and controls Monthly journals, balance sheet reconciliations and accounts preparation Oversee monthly salary processing (UK) Review gross margins and highlight issues Support MD with customer payment plans Ensure accurate invoicing and revenue recognition (UK/US teams) Provide financial leadership across UK/US/UAE operations Undertake general ad-hoc duties as required

What We're Looking For



Minimum 5 years' finance experience Proven people-management experience Strong analytical and strategic thinking ability Degree or equivalent training/experience Fluent in English Experience in industrial or construction-related industries (preferred) Microsoft Office skills essential Knowledge of Winman and Xero helpful but not required
