Stepping Stone Projects is an established and growing charity providing quality homes and services to help prevent homelessness and transform lives across the North West.
Our support services are aimed at helping our customers develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to maintain a stable home and a structured lifestyle before assisting them in the process of securing or retaining permanent independent accommodation.
We are looking to appoint a full time Finance Officer - Banking on a permanent basis.
Working within the Finance Team a hardworking, relaxed and friendly department, the main responsibilities for this role are to effectively manage our Banking and payments processes, and our relatively small Sales Ledger function, including credit control.
In this role you will support the Finance Team by:
Maintaining the sales ledger function
Processing Bacs payments through the online banking system
Engaging with key stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure key suppliers are managed effectively
Supporting the Management Accountant with administration and financial processes
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Experience of undertaking finance related tasks
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, successfully delivering work to tight deadlines
Excellent numeracy skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability of delivering high-quality customer service both inside and outside an organisation
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Advance use with Microsoft office packages, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
