Finance Officer
to join our close-knit and high-achieving team.
About the Role
You'll play a key role in our Finance Department, primarily managing the purchase ledger and processing expense payments, while supporting a wide range of financial and administrative functions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow within a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process purchase invoices and maintain the purchase ledger
Bank reconciliation and petty cash management
Support payroll and billing processes
Administer staff expenses and employee benefits
Assist with school trips, lettings, and recruitment support
Collaborate with HR and Finance Director on joiners, movers, and leavers
What We're Looking For
Experience in a busy finance department (education sector preferred)
AAT or equivalent qualification
Strong IT and Excel skills
High accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team

Salary:
21,969 - 25,415 per annum (based on 40 weeks/year: 34 weeks term-time plus 6 weeks outside of term)
