Job Description

Finance Officer- Permanent part-time




Monday to Friday 30 hours per week Term time + 2 weeks, flexible daily start/finish



times

20,442 per annum





You will support the Head of Finance in the accounts payable process, including requesting the setup


of new suppliers, checking requisition requests for accuracy, placing orders on behalf of the school,


processing invoices, and reconciling accounts, assisting with budget preparation and forecasting.


You will also be supporting accounts receivable with preparing invoices and liaising with debtors


regarding outstanding payments during busy periods. Working collaboratively with the Finance team,


you will help ensure financial procedures are followed and value for money is achieved.




You will need a financial qualification such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent by experience, excellent


ICT and Excel skills. Experience of working within an education environment is desirable.
