We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the overall financial health of the organisation. This position requires a strong understanding of various accounting software and financial services, as well as excellent data entry skills.

Duties


The Finance Officer will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Processing & payment of invoices, application for payments and wages

Processing of payment of expense claims

Processing, reconciliation & payment of monthly supplier ledger

Work closely alongside other members of the finance team and the business

To support the production of accurate information to audit standards

Resolution of invoice queries in a timely manner

Will be required to provide Holiday cover for the Finance Manager

General Finance Administration & housekeeping and other ad hoc duties as required

Experience


The successful candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

Construction related finance experience & knowledge is desirable but not essential. Proficiency in accounting software including Xero Strong understanding of financial services and accounting principles Experience with accounts payable processes and procedures Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Good Microsoft office skills, particularly Excel.
