Farleigh Hospice is a high performing organisation providing specialist palliative and end of life care for people with life limiting illness in the Mid Essex region. Our team at Farleigh has grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of the community we serve and we are looking for highly motivated Finance Officer to join our Finance and Governance team.



This is an exciting opportunity to join Farleigh Hospice as a key member of the team. The role will provide accurate and timely financial information and analytical support to aid the Finance Manager, Finance Director and budget holders within Farleigh Hospice. The role will focus mainly, but not exclusively, on accounting for our Retail and Income Generation income streams.



You will hold or be working towards an accounting qualification (minimum AAT Level 3 or other recognised qualification) or equivalent experience and have a background working in a busy finance team undertaking both financial and management accounting. You will have good attention to detail, excellent IT skills and analytical ability.



You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently as well as being a supportive team member. You will need to be flexible and open and supportive of change as our services continue to grow at Farleigh.
