Job Description

The Finance Officer (Royalties) will be responsible for managing royalty payments and ensuring accurate financial reporting within the organisation. This role requires a strong understanding of financial processes and the ability to work effectively in the accounting and finance department.
As the Finance Officer (Royalties), your main responsibilities will be:

• Manage the calculation and processing of royalty payments accurately and efficiently.
• Reconcile royalty accounts and address any discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare detailed financial reports related to royalties for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records within the accounting system.
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the efficiency of the finance team.

• Proven experience in accounting and finance, ideally within the business services industry.
• Experience in working with royalties/commissions.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes and principles.
• Ability to work with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
