Salary: 25,000-31,300pa



Contract type: 2 x Permanent roles and a Maternity cover Fixed-term (9 months)



Working hours: 37 hours per week




About the role



Are you highly organised, analytical, and passionate about delivering excellent customer-focused finance services?


We are looking for a Finance Officer (Service Charges) to join our Finance team on both a permanent and a fixed term nine-month contract to cover maternity leave.


Based at our Brindley Place office with hybrid working, this is a great opportunity to take on a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent service charge calculations for our customers.


You`ll be involved in the service charge cycle, from estimating future costs to calculating actuals costs, ensuring charges are fair, reasonable, clear, and well understood. Working closely with many teams across the organisation, you will help maintain data accuracy, calculate service charges, and support colleagues in delivering excellent financial services.

About you



You are detail-oriented, proactive, and thrive on getting things right first time. With experience in service charge setting or financial roles within housing, the public sector, or a complex commercial environment, you`re confident working under pressure and to deadlines.


You communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and are comfortable using Microsoft Excel and finance or housing systems. You`re inquisitive by nature, methodical in your approach, and committed to providing excellent service to internal and external customers alike.
