We are looking for a Finance officer to work as part of our Corporate Finance Team at Ruskin Mill Trust, to support the financial processes including purchase ledger and monthly reconciliations of entities within Ruskin Mill Trust, which might include Colleges, Schools, subsidiary companies, or the wider Trust.
The successful applicant will be expected to embrace, articulate and work with the Trust's objectives, vision, values, purpose and method, ensuring that the Trust's paradigm of biodynamic agriculture, Anthroposophical medicine and practical skills education, which is informed by Steiner Education, is maintained, implemented and integrated within the provisions of the Trust.
Duties include:
To process invoices relating to Trust, Social Enterprise, Schools and Colleges using Access Financials, and keep up to date creditors
To run BACS and ensure suppliers are paid on time
To raise customer invoices relating to the Trust and College using Access Financials and implement credit control process to collect money
To post and manage payments from customers onto RMS System
Post payments/receipts from the bank statements relating to Purchase Ledger
Plan and organise work to ensure month end and year end close procedures are adhered to
Reconcile supplier statements and deal with queries from various staff members and suppliers
We are looking for someone who is/has:
Experience of working in a Finance Officer or Purchase Ledger role
Experience of managing a diverse workload and meeting strict deadlines
Ideally completed AAT or equivalent but this is only desirable
Highly Computer Literate in Microsoft office applications, especially Excel
