Job Description

The postholder will be responsible under the direction of the Finance Controller for the day to day operations of the Fundraising Department.
Main duties of the job
To accurately check, balance and bank all Hospice income in line with Hospice Cash Handling Procedures and ensure all monies received are stored securely
To maintain diary's, correspondence, receipts, field telephone enquiries, email and generally staff the office, keeping a tidy working environment.
To record all income in the relevant day cashbook.
To assist with Gift Aid arrangements.

A key role supporting the day-to-day transactional finance processes, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations and assisting with month-end tasks.
