Introduction to role


This is an opportunity for You, an ambitious and driven Finance student to work in the Planning & Management Reporting Hub Team (P&MR), which is part of the dynamic Global Finance Services (GFS) team based in Luton. The GFS P&MR Team, leads the global planning and management reporting delivery across AstraZeneca.


You will be part of a team which is driving standardisation and simplification in group planning and management reporting processes whilst remaining focused to meet the changing needs of business. Your main role will be to assist on the data integrations between planning and reporting systems (eg. Qlik to Hyperion, check and verify planning submissions, building system reconciliations) and assisting on the design of key planning and reporting systems.


This role gives a unique opportunity to gain experience in AstraZeneca's group Planning & Management Reporting process with focus on data transfers, task support, strategic thinking, transition work and trouble shooting. You will report to the Planning Director providing support on key data integrity activities.


Success will depend on building strong relationships and effective liaison with the P&MR Leads, key stakeholders across the company and IT support teams, ensuring that issues are identified and resolved efficiently.


Essential Skills/Experience


Microsoft office skills are prerequisite, with a strong knowledge of Excel & PowerBI


Studying in the finance/accounting field


Strong interest in finance systems and data


Problem solving skills


Strong communication skills


Analytical and attention to detail when addressing issue
