to join our

Finance team

on a permanent basis. This role is home based, working 37 hours per week with occasional travel required.

The Role



As a dynamic

Finance and Process Controls Manager

, reporting to the

Senior Financial Controller,

you will lead our AP/AR operations, drive compliance, and champion continuous improvement across our finance function.

Day to Day you will:
Lead and develop a small, high-performing AP/AR team.
Oversee invoice, payment, and receipt processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Define and track KPIs to enhance process compliance and build insightful dashboards.
Strengthen internal controls and support training for non-finance colleagues.
Collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders including HMRC, auditors, and banks.
Drive improvements in finance processes, automation, and ERP functionality.
Support tax compliance, including VAT returns and corporation tax forecasting.
Provide cross-functional support and contribute to strategic finance initiatives

About You



To be considered for this role, you will need:
A relevant accounting qualification
Strong industry experience with deep knowledge of finance processes and controls.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
A solid understanding of taxation and compliance.
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

An advantage would be the above in a manufacturing environment.
