A leading global business is seeking a Finance Contractor to support a major pensions project.
This is a contract role offered on a flexible basis, with options for some remote working and part-time or full-time work
Key Responsibilities
Lead the buyout of the UK Defined Benefit (DB) scheme, ensuring smooth stakeholder alignment.
Oversee the assessment and potential closure of the DB scheme
Collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders and external advisers
Support broader pensions activities
Project work offering flexibility: Part time or Full time Flexible work from home arrangements
You will have a strong financial background and experience working on pension projects, particularly those involving the buyout of Defined Benefit (DB) schemes and the assessment of scheme closures.
Previous project experience in this area is essential, including a proven track record of collaborating with key stakeholders such as lawyers, advisers, and trustees to deliver successful outcomes
Global manufacturing and healthcare business based in the North west of England.
Duration: 9-12 months
Working Arrangement: Flexible - open to part-time or full-time engagement
Location: Can be mainly remote, site expectations can be as little as every other week
Contract Type: Fixed-term contract or day-rate engagement will be considered
