Finance & Sales Assistant

This is more than a support role -- it's a springboard for someone looking to deepen their impact in both finance and commercial operations.

What You'll Do

You'll be a key player in ensuring our sales and finance processes run seamlessly -- combining technical competence with great customer care.

Finance Operations

Take full ownership of the

sales ledger

-- from invoicing to reconciliation Monitor and manage

customer payments

across multiple bank accounts Lead

credit control efforts

, ensuring customers pay on time and within terms Maintain accuracy between

Xero and invoice finance systems

Evaluate

credit limits

in line with company policies

Sales & Logistics Coordination

Input and process orders using

inventory management software

Review and verify

shipping documents

and order accuracy Act as a key point of contact for

customer queries

Process prepaid payments and coordinate dispatches Work closely with the

stock controller

to resolve availability issues

Finance Administration & Analysis

Manage the finance inbox and ensure clear, timely communication Reconcile business credit card spending, invoices, and receipts using Dext and Xero Provide

ad hoc analysis

and admin support across departments

What You Bring

Proven experience in a finance support role -- ideally within B2B or manufacturing Hands-on credit control and debtor ledger management experience Strong knowledge of

Excel

(VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, formulas) Comfortable using

Xero

,

Unleashed

, and

Dext

(or similar platforms) Either AAT qualified or possess strong equivalent experience Exceptional communication and organisational skills Accuracy, reliability, and a commitment to continuous improvement
