About the Role
The Stallingborough Site Controller will be a key member of the Stallingborough Site Leadership and European & KSA Regional Finance teams in support of its mission to deliver Safe, Quality, Low Cost, Sustainable Tonnes for our customers and exceptional shareholder returns.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Produce and deliver accurately, timely, and well understood financial statements (IS, BS, CF, IFRS, GAAP, local statutory) for the operations and legal entity.
  • Lead recurring financial planning processes such as forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
  • Partner with Site Director and Site Round Table supporting strategy, improvement, and maximising performance of SQLCST.
  • Develop, recruit, and retain team members.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating policies and procedures, internal controls, and SOX regulations and requirements.
  • Lead management (Cost accounting, manufacturing analysis, unit operations finance, etc) and transactional accounting responsibilities (GL, AP, FA, T&E, PPE etc.) within the UK.
  • Produce, and drive action on, monthly reporting and analysis covering variances, metrics, and KPI's.
  • Perform financial analysis on Capital and other investments to ensure alignment with strategy and appropriate returns.
  • Prepare financial performance (Revenue, EBITDA, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, etc.) variance analysis and bridges and commentary to connect operational performance to financial results.
  • Leverage reporting, sensitivity analysis, scenario comparisons, and business partnering to generate actions that maximise results and improve the financial performance of the business.
  • Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of performance within the Finance area
  • Actively participate in global, cross functional, digital transformation project and lead local implementation.
  • Support business partners with various, ad hoc financial analysis and data requests.
About You
The ideal candidate is a friendly, energetic, professional, flexible and well-rounded individual with strong financial aptitude and excellent planning skills who will live the Tronox values.
The successful candidate will also have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent in a finance related subject (accounting, economics, business)
  • ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified
  • An attention to detail that delivers accurate analysis with a high degree of data integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver rational reviews, identify financial outliers, and isolate the outliers from normal financial data trends.
  • An ability to successfully motivate, lead, and develop a broad team with diverse experiences and perspectives.
  • Approach items with an outward mindset, allowing them to see beyond themselves, see every person as a person, and be accountable for the whole.
  • Experienced in financial analysis, including performance variance analysis, KPI reporting, P&L, Balance Sheet, Working Capital, and Cash Flow.
  • Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles effecting profitability, balance sheet and cash flow performance.
  • Experience in various IT systems including ERP (SAP), data warehouse, financial consolidation and planning (OneStream), and Sales and Operations / Integrated Planning.
  • Demonstrated success as a cross functional business partner, with the ability to build relationships and work as a team to drive improvements.
  • An ability to lead and participate in change management initiatives effectively.
  • Experience at presenting data and analysis in a clear, efficient way to a variety of audiences.
  • Work independently and be self-motivated to make a difference.
  • Be trustworthy, reliable, and able to consistently meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required.
