Analytical Skills:

Must have the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends and general meaningful insights is crucial for this role.

Attention to detail:

A keen eye for detail is necessary to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping, financial analysis reporting.

Strong Communication Skills:

Effective communication with Clients and team members.

Accounting software proficiency:

Familiarity with accounting software.

Problem solving Abilities:

the ability to Identify discrepancies in filings and to correct information to ensure financial books & Ledgers are accurate, this is a key strength

Administrative Tasks:

Answering phones responding to e-mails

Responsibilities



Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure professional development and operational efficiency. Oversee the month-end closing process and prepare timely and accurate financial statements. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. Review and analyse financial reports and provide insights to management for decision-making. Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors to address any inquiries. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve the overall efficiency of the department. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.

Requirements



Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within

Hotel Industry.

Knowledge of Opera PMS Proficient in accounting software (Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 32,000.00-35,000.00 per year
