Finance Systems Accountant - Reporting & Reconciliation SME - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Working within the ERP Programme as part of the Design & Build team, the role will be responsible for supporting system users with Reconciliation and other related finance queries and knowledge building as part of go-live of the Oracle system.

This role is being offered on a 6 month fixed term contract available for immediate start.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:




This role will support resolution of finance queries raised by system users, with a focus on reconciliation issues:

Own end-to-end resolution of allocated reconciliation issues as part of hypercare support process
Support Genpact (Outsourced Service Provider) with their reconciliation queries if required, for example where data set is large and/or complex
Complete reconciliation activities from legacy to Oracle system as part of Data Migration processSupport knowledge building for system users by identifying documentation and training enhancements and improvements within reconciliation activities - with a clear focus on upskilling Genpact SMEs for this area Identify reporting gaps and work with relevant teams to ensure appropriate operational reporting is in place Deliver training to wide variety of stakeholders - including offshore teams - utilising a variety of methods Ensure any perceived complexities, issues or existing exceptions are escalated promptly Be a champion of the project Any other tasks as required

Experience/Qualifications:



Qualified Accountant Expertise within problem solving and reconciliation activities Customer focussed with a proven track record of query management and problem resolution Strong, clear and concise communication skills with the confidence to liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders Successful delivery of training via a variety of methods including classroom sessions with offshore-based teams Ability to quickly cut through complex landscapes and drive focus on solutions using a data based approach Ability to challenge status quo with strong problem solving skillsExcellent IT skills including advanced Excel and ticket management systems Ability to work proactively and autonomously Deadline-focused and willing to put in the extra effort, as required Must have strong analytical experience Financially minded, with a strong attention to detail and able to deliver 'right-first-time' results quickly without getting lost in the detail A desire to be part of the project delivering true change to the Finance Function The ability to encourage effective team building, and to manage and influence multinational, cross functional and cross organisational teams in a project environment Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
