Finance Systems Administrator

London, United Kingdom

Job Description

Oak View Group:
Oak View Group (OVG) is the world's leading development, management, and hospitality company founded in 2015 to positively disrupt business as usual.
As the largest developer of sports and live entertainment facilities in the world, OVG prioritises the way we do business focusing on making long-term investments in our people and our planet. About the Venue:
An exciting opportunity to become the go-to expert for our financial systems across international operations
We're looking for someone who really knows their way around financial systems - particularly NetSuite - to join our finance team and help us work smarter.
If you enjoy being the person people turn to when they need systems support, love solving problems, and want to make a real impact on how a growing international business operates, this could be a great fit. Role Purpose:
You'll be the friendly local face of our financial systems - the person who makes sure everything runs smoothly and that our teams can actually use the tools they have effectively. Think of it as being part systems expert, part trainer, part problem-solver.
Day-to-day, you'll:

  • Be the first point of contact when people have questions, hit snags, or need help with our financial systems (ERP, AP, expenses, month-end tools - the works)
  • Keep our systems organized and secure by managing who has access to what, maintaining workflows, and making smart customizations
  • Help new joiners get up to speed with the systems they'll be using
  • Create helpful guides and run training sessions so people feel confident using the platforms
  • Keep our knowledge base up to date with solutions to common issues
  • Keep an eye on how data flows between systems and sort out any hiccups
  • Build useful reports, dashboards, and workflows that make everyone's lives easier
  • Get involved in exciting projects like system upgrades, new implementations, and integrations
What We're Looking For
Experience & Knowledge:
  • At least 4 years working with financial systems - you understand how finance teams operate and what they need from their tools
  • Strong NetSuite experience is essential - this is really important as it's central to what we do
  • NetSuite Administrator certification (or equivalent) is highly valued and will make your application stand out
  • Familiarity with Coupa would be brilliant but isn't a deal-breaker
  • You understand the basics of general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and how it all connects
  • You're comfortable configuring systems, designing workflows, and customizing platforms to fit business needs
  • Excel doesn't scare you - you're pretty handy with it
  • Any experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, FreshService) is a bonus
What Really Matters:
  • You're a natural problem-solver who enjoys getting to the bottom of issues
  • You're detail-oriented but can also see the big picture
  • You communicate clearly and patiently - you can explain technical things to non-technical people
  • You work well across different time zones and enjoy collaborating with international colleagues
  • You're proactive and think about how systems can work better, not just keep them ticking over
What's In It For You?
  • Be the systems expert - genuine ownership and autonomy in your role
  • Work with international teams across multiple time zones and markets
  • Get involved in meaningful projects that improve how the business operates
  • Hybrid working options available
  • Room to grow your expertise and take on new challenges as we expand
Occasionally you might need to do some after-hours work for system maintenance or urgent fixes, but this isn't an everyday thing - we just want to be upfront about it.
Please note - the salary range for this role is 65,000 - 75,000
If you've got the NetSuite skills and certification, love making systems work brilliantly, and want to be the person who makes everyone else's job easier, we'd really like to hear from you. This is a genuine opportunity to make your mark and become an invaluable part of an international team. Our Inclusion Commitments:
OVG is for everyone. Diversity drives innovation, strengthens our people, improves our service, and raises our excellence. Wherever you come from, wherever you are going, we'd love to hear from you.
Employee Screening and Eligibility to Work:
As part of the recruitment process, you will need to prove your right to work in the UK.
