About the Role


We are looking for a Finance Systems Analyst to join our team, responsible for developing and maintaining internal and external financial reports, preparing detailed financial records, and reviewing and analysing current and future reporting needs across the wider finance function.


This is a 12 - month fixed-term contract.





Your Responsibilities

Finance Systems


Design, build, and maintain financial and operational reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle BI, and Smart View, based on user requirements. Deliver ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support the Finance Team's decision-making needs. Maintain and update reporting tables, views, and replications within the Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) to ensure data accuracy and availability. Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, validate data integrity, and support business insights. Lead and participate in ad-hoc data cleansing and data-fixing initiatives, such as supplier merges, multicurrency balance corrections, and prepayment adjustments. Support the development and enhancement of Finance systems, contributing to testing, design input, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide reporting and system support via the Finance Helpdesk, troubleshooting user issues and resolving reporting queries in a timely manner.



About You


Knowledge/Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience of supporting the maintenance of accounting systems in the Insurance or Financial Services industry. Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP (Finance modules).

Skills
Advanced Smart View skills, especially for financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting templates. Solid SQL skills for querying, analysing, and troubleshooting data within Fusion, ADW or similar data databases/warehouses. Strong proficiency in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) for report building, dashboards, and data modelling. Hands-on experience with Oracle BI / OTBI including subject area analysis and custom report creation. Understanding of ADW tables, views, and data structures, including experience Ability to analyse large and complex datasets, identify patterns, and produce insights. Maintaining replications.
