This opportunity places you at the forefront of a historic institutional transformation: the implementation of a new, state-of-the-art financial system. With the commencement of the implementation phase this winter and a planned transition to live operation in the 2027/28 financial year, you will be integral to a major organisational and fiscal overhaul.

• Oversee the development and maintenance of financial systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide expert advice and support to the accounting and finance department on system-related matters.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial reporting processes.
• Lead system upgrades and implement best practices for data management and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with relevant public sector regulations and standards.
• Monitor and manage financial system performance to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
• Support the preparation and delivery of financial reports and forecasts.
• Train and mentor team members on system usage and updates.

• Proven expertise in managing financial systems within an accounting and finance context.
• A strong understanding of public sector financial regulations and requirements.

• A relevant professional qualification in finance or accounting.
