You'll play a key part in the month-end close, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity, while also working closely with external auditors and contributing to ongoing process improvements. This role suits someone who enjoys getting into the detail, understands the importance of accurate financial control, and is proactive in taking on new responsibilities.

The Role

Working as part of a friendly and collaborative finance team, you will be responsible for:

Month-end responsibilities including journals, P&L review and balance sheet reconciliations Preparing and reviewing month-end reporting packs Supporting the annual audit process, providing information to auditors and ensuring documentation is accurate and well-organised Ensuring financial controls are followed and identifying opportunities to improve processes Providing occasional support across AP/AR during busy periods
This is a role with clear progression and the chance to take ownership of a wide range of financial accounting tasks as the business continues to grow.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced in a financial or assistant accounting role with exposure to month-end Confident producing journals and carrying out reconciliations Comfortable working with auditors and supporting statutory reporting Accurate, organised, and eager to take on new responsibilities Studying towards ACCA/CIMA Proactive, curious, and motivated to develop their career
This role suits someone who wants to learn, progress, and eventually take on more ownership across the financial accounting function.
