Key Aspects of the Role

The Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role within the Finance Team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of core accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and general ledger management Prepare and/or review monthly management accounts Provide strong technical accounting expertise Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Develop and enhance financial controls and procedures Support the development and standardisation of consolidated reporting systems Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process Prepare annual statutory accounts and assist external auditors as required

Candidate Profile

We are seeking applicants who meet the following criteria:

A strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) A recognised professional accounting qualification (part-qualified candidates may be considered) Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with contract accounting exposure Proven experience in a Financial Accountant role Excellent communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills A strong work ethic and a proactive approach to professional development Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines

Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
