Job Description

This Financial Accountant position will assist with liaising with internal and external auditors, completing year-end stat accounts, supporting with compliance, cash flow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations.

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
• Oversee the preparation of VAT and other tax returns.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
• Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with auditors to facilitate annual audits.
• Maintain and improve financial controls and processes.
• Provide financial advice and support to internal stakeholders as required.

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or equivalent.
• Experience in financial accounting, either gained in practice and / or industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• An analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
