City Irrigation Ltd are one of the largest UK Trade and Retail suppliers of irrigation equipment and water related products, our main customers are involved in Landscaping, Sports turf, Horticulture and construction. We have a large product range including sprinklers, Tanks, Pumps, Pipe and fittings.
We are currently looking to employ a qualified

Financial Accountant

at our Bromley Branch. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to take the next step in their career within the dynamic and growing business of Irrigation.

Duties

Managing Sales and Purchasing across multiple platforms Preparing sales and margin reports, forecasts, and costing sheets to support business performance Delivering accurate monthly and quarterly accounts with variance analysis and consolidated reporting Managing journals, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, cash flow, and fixed asset register Preparing VAT returns and supporting audits to ensure full compliance Enhancing financial processes, controls, and reporting to drive efficiency Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc financial analysis for senior management Mentor junior staff members in accounting practices and software usage. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.

Skills

Fully qualified

CIMA / ACCA / ACA

with ' accounting experience (commercial or practice) Strong knowledge of journals, reconciliations, VAT, and intercompany accounting Proficient in

Sage 200 (or similar)

and advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups) Analytical, detail-focused, and able to work to strict deadlines Confident communicator who can partner effectively with finance and non-finance teams Some knowledge of linking websites to financial reports

Pay: 35,000.00-42,000.00 per year
