As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our close-knit London finance team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a purpose-led organisation where sustainability and innovation are central to everything we do.

The Role

You will play a key role in managing the financial reporting and controls for our UK operations. Working closely with the Chief Group Controller, you'll take ownership of core accounting activities, contribute to forecasting and reporting, and support audits and wider financial projects.


This is a varied role offering autonomy, responsibility, and exposure to a growing renewable energy portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Forecasting (approx. 60%)

Prepare company and consolidated statutory accounts Produce monthly management accounts and forecasts Manage stock accounting and track project milestones Prepare cashflow reports and fixed asset schedules Calculate quarterly SWAP and land rent figures

Bank & Covenant Reporting (approx. 20%)

Input into bank financial models and act as a key finance contact Prepare and deliver bank covenant reporting Collate half-yearly bank reporting across all entities

Ad Hoc & Strategic Support (approx. 20%)

Support audits, impairment modelling, and statutory accounting papers Prepare decommissioning analysis and annual budget calculations Review community fund accounts and provide wider finance support

About You

Essential

Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting skills Advanced Excel skills and confident with PowerPoint High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy Able to manage competing priorities and deadlines Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

Desirable

Experience with Microsoft 365, Tagetik, or Adaptive Insights Financial modelling experience Background in renewables, energy, or infrastructure
