We are looking for a skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our team and help drive our growth whilst maintaining our excellent service record.

Role Overview:

Manage a small team and take charge of preparing and submitting annual accounts and tax returns for a range of small and medium sized clients. The applicant must also be involved in the firms data administration and contribute to improvements and advancement in methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and oversee implementation of accountancy system and policies Prepares financial documents and reports for clients and statutory Prepare accounts and supervise book-keeping Prepare tax returns, advise on tax problems and contest disputed claim before tax official Evaluate financial information for clients Liaise with clients and partners to compile budgets and other reports Prepare periodic accounts, budgetary reviews and financial forecasts

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred or in progress Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficient in Xero, Quickbooks, Sage and Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or as part of a team
