Financial Accountant (Private Banking)
Up to 90,000 plus EXCELLENT bonus and benefits

Due to exciting business growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join the Finance & Control team at a highly prestigious private bank, based in the heart of London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting critical finance processes, and contributing to system improvements within a dynamic banking environment.
Duties of the Financial Accountant to include:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including audit coordination.
• Assist with tax-related activities such as corporation tax returns and RDEC claims.
• Maintain and develop finance systems, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to internal and external audits, preparing schedules and liaising with auditors.
• Drive continuous improvement in statutory reporting and financial controls.

Requirements for the successful Financial Accountant to include:

• Candidates MUST be fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
• Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and financial controls.
• Experience in monthly reporting cycles and ad hoc analysis.
• Familiarity with financial instruments and their accounting treatment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems (e.g., Infor SunSystems).
• Desired: Experience with data tools such as Power BI or SQL.
