Summary

Harvest Retail is currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our department as Financial Accountant- Retail. The role will take ownership of the financial accounting for the Retail business.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller, the postholder's key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Prepare timely VAT return submissions Support, review and analyse of monthly cost accruals and prepayments Support, review and analysis of Fixed Assets and Lease reporting Support, review and analysis of Inventory valuations for stock accounting and month end closing position Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations Prepare bank reconciliations Reconcile intercompany Reconcile cash control accounts Support the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors Support tax year end journals Creation of business partner accounts To actively participate in driving forward best practice and to provide support and encouragement to the members of the offshore team Other ad-hoc finance related duties

Person Specification, Qualifications & Package details:

Possess strong analytical skills Excellent time management/organisational and multi-tasking skills Strong communication skills Flexible and adaptable in approach Ability to meet demanding deadlines and adapts to business needs Strong system skills, experience in SAP B1 or Dynamics is desirable. Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel Experience in Financial Accounting activities preferable Newly or recently qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

Package offered:

Pay: 45,000.00-50,000.00 per year
