FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING MANAGER - PERMANENT - 65K + BONUS - HYBRID - BIRMINGHAM

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of statutory and management accounts, ensuring full compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
Oversee the audit process as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
Champion process improvements to strengthen controls, accuracy, and efficiency across finance.
Support tax compliance and planning to meet legislative requirements.
Conduct thorough balance sheet reviews and resolve variances.
Ensure correct revenue recognition and reporting across multiple business units.
Produce comprehensive reporting packs and deliver clear analysis for senior leadership and the board.
Lead the consolidation of management accounts and oversee cash flow forecasting.
Own quarterly VAT submissions and maintain an accurate fixed asset register.
About You:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with strong technical and reporting expertise.
Experienced in financial controls, audit, and compliance.
Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex environment.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to driving continuous improvement.
