Our Sat Connect IC business unit, a division of our Satellite Systems business is a leading provider of ASICs, software, multibeam electronically steered antennas, and complete systems for communication satellites, as well as ground and airborne terminals. We are looking for an

Financial Analysis

to join our finance team, this role will play a key part in the company's global financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and analysis of operating results Maintain accurate financial ledgers, tax submissions, and payroll records Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliation Support with the preparation of annual audit reports and R&D tax credit claims Assist with implementing process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy Responsible for developing efficient project accounting process by ensuring costs are allocated to the relevant projects. and be able to respond to the Project Managers reporting requests Ensure compliance with reporting requirements for National Statistics Monitor, implement, and maintain robust internal financial controls Provide financial analysis and support for ad-hoc business projects Ensure SOX compliance controls are followed in each working paper Support SOX documentation requirements Help with ESA project cost monitoring and claim submission Support internal and external audits throughout the year

Requirements:

Part-qualified ACCA or equivalent, or strong accounting knowledge through experience 2-3 years' experience in management accounting and financial analysis Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel essential) Experience in public companies is an advantage ERP system experience (NetSuite/Oracle, SAP, or Priority) desirable Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the business Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proactive, independent, and team-oriented work style
