We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial planning and analysis skills, with a proven ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office to support decision-making processes and enhance financial performance.
Duties
Manage complete month end closing process ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded within tight deadlines.
Prepare accurate financial statements (balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statements).
Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations e.g bank and vendor reconciliations.
Handling monthly aging and monitor accounts receivable and payable collections.
Monitor company expenses, ensure accurate cost allocation.
Track inventory (purchase, sale etc.), identify high margin stock and monitor stock aging reports to identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
Recommend optimal stock levels based on customer demand and market trends.
Evaluate profitability of different lenders and financing options.
Develop and monitor budgets for showroom operations: sales, marketing, admin, utilities and commissions.
Prepare and monitor daily cash position of the company.
Manager customer and vendor contracts from financial standpoint.
Oversee accurate and timely billing, cost recognition and accruals.
Conduct detailed variance analysis between actual and budget and providing clear explanations for any discrepancies identified.
Analyze used car sales performance by model, brand and time period.
Requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
A background or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years experience in a financial analysis role.
