Job Description

On behalf of the Bank of England, we are looking for a Financial Analyst (Inside IR35) for a 6 Months contract based in London 2 day per week.

As a Financial Analyst, your main responsibilities will be:

Produce and analyse accurate financial reports, including cost, headcount, income, trends, and metrics. Perform scenario modelling to support strategic decision-making and prioritisation. Prepare and consolidate Management Information (MI), forecasts, budgets, and multi-year financial plans. Build and maintain MI models for Planning & Analysis and Finance Business Partner teams. Collaborate across Finance to optimise processes and reporting using available tools. Support system upgrades (Oracle-based) with a focus on MI functionality, and provide ad-hoc analysis and absence cover.

Essential:

Deep understanding of analysis and a strong interest in working the public sector. Ideally a qualified Accountant or equivalent gained through experience High quality analytics skills including advanced excel skills Ability to analyse large volumes of data to identify key trends and messages Data visualisation techniques including building dashboard reports Active Sc Clearance

Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
