Financial Analyst
Job Description
Location: Based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. This is an office-based position.
Working Pattern: Permanent, Part Time - 20 hours per week
Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 (Pro rata)
We are looking for a part time Financial Analyst with strong experience working with Microsoft Power BI. Working in a team of 4 and reporting to a Financial Controller, the successful candidate must be a team player, be highly organised and flexible. This role would suit someone studying or wanting to study towards a formal accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA). Training is offered and study support is available.
Key Responsibilities:
To convert existing reports, develop and implement new and advanced analytical tools using Power BI, based on data from Microsoft Business Central and other various sources
Prepare regular financial reporting packs for customers and for internal use (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc)
Support the wider finance function through month-end activities, budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory reporting and audit processes
Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes, controls, and systems
Any other duties as required
