The Accounting Technician is responsible for managing the financial and bookkeeping operations of the dental practice, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely billing, and compliance with accounting standards. This role supports the practices financial health by handling accounts receivable/payable, payroll, insurance claims, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
Track and report cash flow and KPIs
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Prepare CIS returns Run monthly payroll for salaried staff,
contractors and self-employed workers
Track project P&Ls and support commercial reporting
Oversee financial compliance,
HMRC obligations and company secretarial tasks
Payment scheduling, and reconciliation in QuickBooks
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy with partners
What We're Looking For
AAT Level 3 or QBE / Part-qualified ACCA; CIMA a strong advantage
Strong knowledge of CIS and Domestic Reverse Charge VAT
Experience producing management accounts
Advanced Excel skills,
QuickBooks or Reflow experience preferred
Comfortable handling payroll, expenses, and statutory reporting
High attention to detail, with a proactive and flexible mindset
Strong communication skills and discretion handling financial data
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 33,000.00-39,000.00 per year
